In this cartoon comedy, Felix trios to become an aviator with highly laughable results. The black cat, long a favorite with all types of audiences, takes no chance when he decides to take up flying and insures all nine of his feline lives with a reputable insurance company. With such imaginative plot, the Sullivan Studios have turned out another fine job of superb animation and sure-fire comedy in this one. Felix, spurred by his sweetheart to deeds of daring, finally decides to take up flying. He has taken out insurance on all nine lives, trying out his flying lore, which he acquired from an instructor in a bird’s flying school. The insurance company is prompt in making its payment, paying in full before Felix can rise from his fall to earth. Fearful of his safety, Felix tries again. This time his fall is broken by a parachute which later becomes a dress for a lady bear. The dress owner’s husband, a huge bear, enraged, wallops the life out of the little black cat---six lives, to be exact, again the insurance people settle promptly. Rich at last, Felix proposes to his lady love that his remaining life be spent in her company.
