This short was copyrighted as "Paramount Magazine No. 3865" on December 3, 1919[2] and the copyright was renewed on January 5, 1947.[3] Its copyright has expired.
Trivia[]
- The title of this third cartoon was intended to establish the cat's name as Felix. His name was not officially given in the first two cartoons and some referred to the cat as "Master Tom". Messmer claimed that John King of Paramount Magazine suggested the name "Felix", for contrast of the felicity traditionally associated with a black cat.
