Felix The Cat Wiki

School Daze is a 1926 Felix the Cat short produced by Pat Sullivan.

Plot[]

Maria had a kitten, and Felix is her pet cat. After getting Maria into trouble at school, Felix sets out to learn the answer to his teacher's question, "What is the hottest place in the world?" Felix steals a balloon from a street corner stand and sets off on an aerial journey. A bird punctures his imitation blimp, and Felix finds himself at the bottom of the ocean.

Chased by an alligator, the cat finally escapes only to suddenly realize that what he thought was the top of a tall tree is part of a bird and that he is being taken to its nest. Felix eventually locates the equator and walks along the line. He mistakes this imaginary line and grabs a lion's tail. After many thrilling chases in many climates, Felix finally ends up at the top of the North Pole, escaping his enemies gathered below by a stroke of luck. He returns to Maria in an ice cake, deciding that things were warmer for him at the North Pole.
