Rock Bottom is the amateurish minion of The Professor and one of Felix the Cat's more recurring enemies, first appearing in the Felix the Cat cartoons of the 1950s and 1960s. He acts as The Professor's sidekick. Being of a "more brawn than brains" type, he often fails in carrying out The Professor's plans to steal Felix's Magic Bag.
On three occasions, he was seen helping Master Cylinder deface Felix, and steal his magic bag.
He is often presented as a bulldog of an oafish disposition, usually smoking a cigar. Unlike The Professor, Rock is seldom very bright and often bumbles his tasks. Rock Bottom's goal in life is to capture Felix's bag of tricks to please The Professor, but the two have never succeeded in winning against the cat, no matter the number of crazy plans they come up with.
Rock Bottom appeared in The Twisted Tales of Felix the Cat episode Attack of the Robot Rat in where he was renamed LeadFanny. Unlike Rock Bottom from the 50s/60s cartoons, LeadFanny is a stereotypically flamboyant gay-coded character whose voice is an imitation of Harvey Fierstein.
He is a villain in the 1992 NES game "Felix the Cat".
