Reverse English is a 1923 Felix the Cat short produced by Pat Sullivan.
Plot[]
Felix is like most cats in that he resents being turned out at night when he would rather stay inside and sleep. Unable to get in through the door, Felix climbs through a steam pipe, emerging from the radiator valve. Discovered and thrown out again, he phones home, but is dismissed.
To get revenge, the cat decides to keep his boss from sleeping. His fiddle on the fence wakes the boss, and his master comes out, puts him in a sack, and throws him into a lake. A lobster frees Felix from his prison, but proves a difficult handshake.
Safely on dry land, Felix falls asleep, and in his dream he and his boss have switched places and sizes. And now the cat takes particular pleasure in throwing the man, now the smaller of the two, scraps of food from the table, turning him out at night, etc. And so Felix sleeps, laughing to himself and oblivious to the rain that falls on him.
