Paramount Pictures is an American movie studio. Paramount is the second oldest surviving movie studio in the United States and the sixth oldest in the world. It owned by Paramount Skydance Corporation (formerly known as ViacomCBS and Paramount Global). Paramount is one of the "Big Five" movie studios in Hollywood, USA.
Under the name Famous Players-Lasky, they released the first Felix the Cat cartoons through its Paramount Magazine[1][2][3] series from 1919 to 1921.
Paramount Pictures had a home video subsidiary, Paramount Home Video.
