Outdoor Indore is a 1928 Felix the Cat short produced by Pat Sullivan.
Plot[]
Choosing the job of watering the circus elephant as one of the best, Felix grabs a fire hose to make the task easier. The fact that the circus has no elephant gives him the brilliant idea of filling the void with one. Meanwhile, a fireman turns on the water and the hose blows Felix away, heading towards Indore.
The black cat starts to chase the elephant, but is attracted by a child with a lollipop. When trying to take the candy from the boy, Felix discovers, to his horror, that the lollipop is a tiger's tail. And the tiger doesn't hesitate to go after Felix. The cat hides and then steals the stripes from the tiger's back to use as a ladder. Then, he spots some snakes and, imitating a Hindu snake charmer, converts the reptiles into a bicycle.
Finally, Felix spots an elephant hard at work. The black cat finds the elephant dissatisfied with his working conditions and convinces him to join the circus life. The two set off for home, but the weight of the big guy unbalances the boat. Thrown into the water, the elephant comes to the rescue by drinking the ocean dry, and the two walk back home. Back at the circus, Felix and his great friend are the hit of the show.
