Felix The Cat Wiki

Switches Witches is a 1927 Felix the Cat short produced by Pat Sullivan.

Plot[]

Felix, out celebrating Hallowe'en, scares a few of his friends with his pumpkin head until frightened by a pig impersonating a ghost. Felix switches the heads and legs of various animals around until the same stunt is tried on him, and then he looks for other amusement.

A wise old owl tells his fortune. Following his instructions, Felix goes down into a cellar backwards, carrying a mirror, to meet the lady of his heart. A witch appears and chases Felix over the countryside. Try as he will, Felix's efforts are no match for the wicked one's magic. Tiring of flight and unable to move, Felix surrenders to the inevitable.

Then the witch takes off her hideous mask revealing a petite lady kitten, who had dressed up for a Hallowe'en party. Naturally, Felix reconsiders his desire to flee and all ends in a happy embrace.
