Felix The Cat Wiki

Felix Sees 'Em in Season is a 1927 Felix the Cat short produced by Pat Sullivan.

Plot[]

Spring has sprung, and no one knows it better than Felix the Cat. The snow has melted, and greenery is taking over the once snow-covered landscape. Trees turn green, birds begin their mating, and insects begin their daily business once more. But with spring comes a half-sister, "Spring Fever," which takes its place in the world. Birds, beasts, fish, and even humans succumb to it.

Felix, roused from his own lethargy by the stinging intentions of an agitated bee, comes to the aid of a faithful black woman whose careless behavior has threatened the security of her job. The cat wisely uses the same bee to rouse the weary and indifferent woman.

Felix spies a mouse and decides to start his spring menu with this delicious dish. But before the chase can get very far, boredom overtakes both Felix and the pursued mouse, and they abandon their enmity. Thus, in brotherly peace, the two go into the arms of Morpheus together.
