Felix The Cat Wiki

Felix Rings the Ringer is a 1926 Felix the Cat short produced by Pat Sullivan.

Plot[]

Out of luck when it comes to food and penniless, Felix begins hunting for food. The fact that the circus is in town means nothing in Felix's starving existence. He craves food. He watches the various circus people and spectators eat hot dogs, sandwiches, and all manner of other foods, but never manages to get a bite until he stumbles upon a hot dog stand. He grabs one and the stand owner gives chase.

The chase takes them under the "main tent" where the big acts are in progress. The hot dog stand owner's frantic pursuit of Felix takes the two through many of the circus rings where daring acts are in progress. Felix and his pursuer's informal antics on the balancing pole and trapeze bring the house down. They are so successful that the circus manager offers to hire Felix and his pursuer to a good contract for the season.
