Felix Hits the Deck is a 1927 Felix the Cat short produced by Pat Sullivan.
Plot[]
Felix is intrigued by the art of manipulating cards, and in his endeavors the cat angers the pack of playing cards which he has shuffled in a silly manner. The ace of spades attempts to beat up Felix, but the sly cat eliminates him with the three balls of the club emblem.
Then Felix sees a full house and decides to go in, but the King's auntie proves to be only a penny ante. However, the queen has a heart and feeds the kitty. In gratitude, Felix digs for diamonds with a spade so that may reward her. Discovered, the jack takes Felix before the king for sentence.
The king, his visage suffused with a royal flush, sends Felix to the jack of clubs, who, after a short chase, administers the grand slam. This completely knocks the poor cat out of the deck where the cards had been stacked against him. Disgusted, Felix renounces the playful pasteboards forever.
