Felix Fans the Flames is a 1926 Felix the Cat short produced by Pat Sullivan.
Plot[]
Felix's hunger overcomes his conscience, and he steals a meal. Fully satisfied, he goes to sleep, very close to a hot stove, on which his tail is resting and smoking.
The devil appears and takes Felix to his domain, where the cat leads a merry chase through the flames. (Note the flame effects—it's a wonderful example of pen-and-ink animation.) Felix finally awakens to find his tail on fire.
Felix remedies this by calling the fire department, and as the firemen point the hose in his direction, we see Felix expressing delight at the relief this provides to his burned rear end.
