Plot[]

Felix is asleep, although he is supposed to be the "guard dog" of the house. Finding this black cat asleep, a mouse and all his relatives come to stay. When the new master discovers that Felix is taking a break from work, he immediately throws him out. Discouraged and unemployed, Felix gets a lucky break when he is hired to protect an optician's shop from rodents.

The eyeglass specialist is plagued by a daring gang of mice who wreak havoc on his glasses and all his stock. They use his assortment of glasses as bicycles and generally disorganize and damage the store. They treat Felix as roughly as the glasses when he becomes their guard, but the cat chases them and nearly captures several. Exhausted from his pursuit, Felix falls asleep.

The mice sneak up and place a pair of powerful magnifying glasses on the unfortunate cat. When he wakes up, Felix is terrified to see the tiny mice look like giant monsters many times his size. Continuing to wear these strong glasses, many tiny creatures appear as dragons and large animals to the confused Felix. Finally, he knocks off the glasses and realizes that the joke is on him.
