A Tale of Two Kitties is a 1926 Felix the Cat short produced by Pat Sullivan.
Plot[]
Dressed in his best clothes, Felix sets out to meet his best girl. But she gently, yet firmly, reminds him that it is 8 o'clock by the town clock and that she cannot see him at this late hour. So Felix goes out to freshen up, only to be informed by the village's only policeman that curfew has already rung and that he should be in bed. Angered by such treatment and the old-fashioned customs of his hometown, he decides to visit the town and party on the Gay White Way.
After enjoying dinner at a nightclub, Felix discovers that his newly acquired companion has robbed him. Disgusted and heartbroken, Felix returns to his slow-moving country town, resolved to make the best of things there.
